All of our technicians are factory trained and have to undergo continuing education through out the year to keep them up to date on changes in our industry. We are very proud of the fact that our technicians stay with our company and we don't turn our staff over so you can see the same technician year after year. Older air conditioners and heat pumps installed 15 to 20 years ago will only have a rating of 6 SEER or 8 SEER. So when comparing the different ratings, our systems will have a minimum of 13 SEER, no matter which system you purchase you will have a more efficient system than your older system. chmidt Heating and Cooling can test the air in your home and provide you with a report measuring air particulants, VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds), CO (Carbon Monoxide), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), temperature and humidity. This report will help you make an informed decision about where you can improve your indoor air quality. The test requires the device be in you home for at least 48 hours and can be scheduled at your convenience.
